Digimon Adventure 01 pt.1

It was a beautiful hot summer day at camp, bunch of kids were hanging out with friends and introducing themselves to new ones. It seemed like an ordinary day, but something strange was about to happen. A young boy with wild brown hair and goggles, he went by the name Tai. Now Tai was just lying in a tree branch napping away, until he noticed something strange happened to the weather.


Tai wasn't the only one who noticed the climate change, a girl who wore a blue hat, with red hair, also wore a yellow sleeveless t-shirt and blue jeans, and was named Sora. She seemed quite surprised when she saw snow falling. Then a boy also quite a glimpse at the snow falling. He had blonde hair, and was wearing a green turtle neck and blue jeans, his name was Matt.


Another boy, who was typing on his laptop, noticed the snow coming down as well. He had red spiky hair, he wore an orange shirt and brown short. His name was Izzy. Then a girl who wore a pink dress and wore a pink cowgirl hat, who was called Mimi, was watching the snow as well. Another kid who wore a green looking hat on his head, wore a green hoodie and khaki, which everyone called him TK, had watched the snow falling right before his eyes.


The next person is a boy with glasses and blue hair. He had on a sweater vest, a t-shirt, and khaki shorts, his name was Joe. The last person to noticed the snow was a girl. The girl had long snow white hair with cyan highlights, she wore a cyan tank top under a cream colored long sleeve sweater, which cropped her shoulders, and she wore blue jeans. Her name was Haru.


Suddenly, a blizzard broke out, making all the campers run for shelter in their huts to wait out until the storm stopped. When it finally died down, the doors of a cabin opened, revealing Tai, seeing if the storm did any damage. 'Needless to say the canoe races are cancelled' Tai thought as he looked at the snow on the ground.


"So let's have a toboggan races instead" Tai laughed and ran out of the shed. "I'm gonna build the biggest snowman" TK laughed and began to run out and play in the snow "Hey TK, be careful! Slow down!" Matt ran out after his little brother. Sora walked over to the door, with her arms around herself "It's freezing! And I didn't bring a jacket" she shivered. Haru walked next to her "I still can't understand why it snowed in the middle of summer?" she wondered as she and Sora walked out the shed.


"Man! I was worried I'd catch a summer cold, but this is even worse" Joe looked out "Wow! Why didn't I pack my fluffy pink snow boots?" Mimi was marveled by the snow. "Still not working!" Izzy was inside, trying to get his laptop working. But the connection still failed. "Hey, what's your name? Izzy, come out here, you gotta see this!" Izzy looked up and heard Tai's voice calling him.


Izzy got up from his spot and ran out to the gang. He then noticed everyone was staring at strange lights in the sky. "It's beautiful! Magical even!" Mimi smiled, looking at the beautiful colors. Haru seemed to be marveled by the colors, until she turned to head to Izzy "Yeah, but what is it?" Haru answered, which got Izzy to think as well. "Maybe an aurora?" Sora asked "You mean Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights?" Izzy turned to Sora "That's impossible, you see that's in Alaska, we're way to far south" he explained "Tell that to the snow" Sora replied, still not taking her eyes off the sky.


"I really think we oughta get back inside before we all come down with pneumonia" Joe said worriedly "And miss this? The sky is like, short circuiting!" Matt exclaimed. The lights began to disappear and a strange swirling vortex appeared in its place. It began to glow and shout out eight different lights, that looked like fireballs. They landed near the group.


Everything started to settled down, everyone got up and went to check out what those things were that fell from the sky. "Everyone, are you alright?" Sora got up, and asked if the gang was okay and nothing it. "We're still here" Matt said, checking to see if TK was okay "That was scary!" Mimi said while she held onto her hat. "Wha-What was it?" Joe asked all freaked out. "Meteors?" Izzy guessed, looking at the hole near him "They seem small to be meteors" Haru pointed it out.


Then all of a sudden, the holes began to glow, which popped out eight weird looking devices. "Ok, so it's not meteors" Izzy finished and watched the devices float. One by one the gang grabbed the devices. They all examined them, finding it a bit strange on why they fell from the sky.


"What are these?" Sora asked, as she looked at her device in her hand "My guess is some kind of miniaturized remote digital devices" Izzy answered Sora, trying to figure out the devices as well. Haru looked at hers in the palm of her hand. "Do they even come with instructions?" she asked, still examining it.


Suddenly the gang was interrupted by a huge wave of water that erupted from the ground. "Forget the instructions, surfs up!" Tai yells, as the wave sucks them in. They all began to scream as the wave began to suck them into a portal. Sending them to another world.


Tai felt he was back on the ground again. "Tai....yoohoo! Tai!" a voice kept calling his name. This caused Tai to wake up, he looked down and saw some kind of pink creature sitting on his chest. The creature stared at Tai until he screamed and threw the thing off him. "That's the last time I eat camp food!" Tai screamed, freaking out by this strange creature. The creature bounced near him "Hey you don't need to be afraid of me, I'm your friend! I'm your friend! I'm your friend!" the creature smiled and exacitedly bounced up and down.


"Just what are you? Have you had your rabies shot?" Tai askked the creature, still freaked out. The creature continued to smile "Every things going to be alright now Tai, I've been waiting for you" the creature then jumped into Tai's hands. "Waiting for me?" Tai repeated, looking confused. The creature still smiled at the boy "My name's Koromon..and we're...partners!" the creature introduced itself.


"Koromon? That means 'Talking Head?'" Tai asked, still a little confused on the name. "It means 'Brave Little Warrior' and don't you forget it Tai" Koromon replied, correcting him. Tai still looked at Koromon, and wondered something "So what do you mean you've been waiting for me, and how do you know my name?" Tai asked. "Tai" a familiar voice said.


Tai looked around and saw Izzy from behind a tree. "Izzy that you?" Tai asks tuning around to see him. Izzy nodded a bit "It's me, and I've got this little thing following me everywhere" he looked down, as a little pink blob creature came into view. "It is me, Motimon, at your service" the creature, Motimon, said, which causes Tai to freak out. "Another one! What are they!" Tai asks screaming.


"Oh, allow me to introduce myself, my friends call me Motimon, everyone does actually" Motimon replied, pointing to himself. Izzy then walked up to Motimon "I believe those miniature remote digital gadgets have taken on an actual life form" he said, looking down at his creature. "I don't remember anything like this in the browser" Izzy explain, trying to think this out. "You think? It's weird" Tai said, then looking around his surroundings.


Tai looked around and noticed that they were in some kind of forest. "Vegetation is lush, but the soil appears rather common" Izzy told Tai "Nothing is common in the Digi-World" Motimon said. "That's right Tai, you're in the Digi-World!" Koromon shouts happily at Tai "And just where is this 'Digi-World'?" Tai wanted to know. "I don't care so much about 'where it is', I want to know what it is?" Izzy says really curiously. Tai then looked up at a tree nearby "Guess I'll just take a look around myself" he said and started to climb up.


When Tai reached a branch near the top, he began to look at the view. He brought out his mini telescope, trying to get a good view where everything is. That's when he saw something shocking. "The ocean? What's that doing there?" Tai looked at the view, wondering what's an ocean doing where he was. "Our campsite was nowhere near the ocean and I sure don't remember those mountains, something tells me a compass isn't gonna help much" Tai said to himself.


Koromon then hopped onto a branch Tai was sitting on. "Hey Tai, what do you see?" Koromon asked him "Nothing I recognize" Tai replied to Koromon. That was until he caught a glimpse at a giant red beetle like creature. "Look at that, it's some kind of giant red beetle, and it's flying right at us!" Tai yelled and leaned backwards to avoid being hit by it, along with Koromon.


On the ground, Izzy and Motimon watched at that giant red beetle. Motimon began to cover his eyes "I can't watch! That is one seriously bad Digimon even when he's in a good mood" he says, still covering his eyes. "That's just great!" Izzy said as the beetle turns back around and attacked Tai and Koromon.


"What out! His name is Kuwagamon. He's an Insectoid Digimon. Vicious and ruthless, with teeth like knives and Scissor Arms that can chop though anything!" Koromon explained about the beetle creature. Kuwagamon headed straight for them both, but Koromon jumps at him and blew little pink bubbles at Kuwagamon. The bubbles only managed to knock him off course. Both Tai and Koromon fell to the ground after Kuwagamon hits the side of the tree.


Izzy and Motimon ran up to them, hoping they were alright "Tai you okay?" Izzy asked him "Well I have had better days" Tai replied to him. Tai noticed Koromon and held the little guy in his hands "Little guy, you should pick on bugs your own size, what's your name, Koromon?" he said to Koromon in his hands. Koromon looked up at him "That's me" he answered to his name. "You're pretty brave for a little guy, I'm impressed" Tai told him "It was nothing" Koromon said, all flattered what Tai said.


However, Izzy then noticed Kuwagamon coming back around. "Ta, he's coming this way again!" Izzy shouts, pointing towards the incoming insect. "Oh dear! Oh dear! Quickly everyone this way!" Motimon pointed to a direction. Which the two boys began to follow him.


"For having two legs, you boys are awfully slow" Motimon said, as they tried to run away from Kuwagamon, who was catching up to them. Then Motimon stopped near a tree "Inside this tree!" he pointed to it. Tai, and Izzy ran into the tree with Motimon and they just vanished. On the outside it looked like a normal tree, while on the inside it looked all cybernectic. "What kind of tree is this?" Izzy asked, looked at it's cybernetic walls "It's a hiding tree silly" Motimon replied to him "Quiet now! Don't make a sound" Izzy said quietly.


Everyone remained quiet as the only thing they heard was Kuwagamon's roaring. Then everything became silent, not a sound of Kuwagamon was heard. "All clear, no need to hide anymore" a familiar voice said outside of the tree.


Both Tai and Izzy poked their heads out, and saw Sora standing there with a smile on her face. "Sora!" Tai shouted, seeing his friend "You can come out now" Sora replied to them. "Oh we were just planning the trap we were gonna set for that big bug" Tai told her, as he and Izzy and their Digimon stepped out of the tree.


Tai then noticed some kind of radish looking creature with a bluish-purple flower on it's head. "I am enchanted to meet you friends of Sora" the creature said to them sweetly. "Tai, Izzy, meet Yokomon" Sora introduced the little Digimon to her friends. She then turned to Yokomon "My own personal something or other" Sora told them "Looks like a radish to me" Tai said, looking at Yokomon.


"Must be another one of them, like the others whatever they are" Izzy said as they looked back at Koromon and Motimon. When another one of them popped out of nowhere. It looked like some pig creature with two antenna on it's head. "They're popping up everywhere!" Izzy said as he, Tai and Sora looked surprised at this creature.


The pig like creature sat up and smiled at them. "Hello, I am Tokomon" it introduced itself to them. Tokomon then turned his head in a direction "Hey TK, over here!" Tokomon yelled "Coming!" said a familiar voice. Half of the gang turned to the voice and saw TK runnign from the bushes "Tokomon, there you are!" TK shouted and ran to the little Digimon. "TK!" Matt ran after his brother, carrying a orange creature with a horn on it's head under his arm.


"Hey Matt, you too?" Tai asked, seeing the creature under his arm "Yeah I'm here too" Matt replied, thinking Tai asked him he was alright. Tai nodded though and pointed to the creature "No I meant that thing under your arm" "This guy? Yeah well..." Matt began but trails off. The creature smiled at the new people "Hello, you appear pleasant" the creature began "Tsunomon is my name, and I am quite pleased to meet you" he introduced himself as Tsunomon.


The gang then spotted another creature coming out of the bushes. It had the face like a cow, it was a light brown color with dark brown spots, and it wore a cowbell. It ran on fours, and ran to the group. "Another one!" Sora proclaimed, as the gang looked shocked to see another one of the creatures. The creature looked up at them and smiled "Hello, my name's Vealmon" it said and introduced it's as Vealmon. The gang looked at Vealmon for a moment "Looks kinda like a cow" Tai said, as he titled his head to the side.


"There you are!" Tai looked up and saw Haru running up to them. That's when Tai figured Vealmon must be Haru's. "You shouldn't have run off like that Vealmon" Haru said as she bend down and smiled at the cow Digimon and giggled. "Haru, you too?" Tai asked her. Haru looked up and and got back up "Yeah, seems like I have one as well" Haru replied with a small smile "Join the club" Matt joked, as the gang shared a little chuckle.


Suddenly they heard a familiar scream. Haru turned to whom ever that scream belonged to "Wait is that...Joe?" she asked the others. When who should appear, Joe came out of the bushes, running towards them screaming. Behind him was a floating creature following him. "Help me! This thing...this thing, it won't leave me alone!" Joe said, trying to catch his breath. Then the creature smiled "Hey who are you calling a thing? I'm no stuffed animal, the name is Bukamon" he laughed as he hung from Joe's shoulder. However Joe started to scream again.


Joe looks at them and noticed they were not scared as he was right now "What's wrong with you guys? Don't you see this creature hanging off me and those creatures standing right there?" Joe asked, but came to realize something. "They're everywhere! What are they?" Joe shouted, eyeing each of the creatures. Bukamon got off his shoulder and went where the rest of them stood.


"We're...."Bukamon starts "Digimon! Digital Monsters!" all of the Digimon shouted together and smiled at the humans. Tai and the gang stood in their places, shocked by what the Digimon call themselves "Digital Monsters?" Tai asked again. The Digimon smiled once more "Yes Digimon!" they said together.


"We're not just Digital Monster, we're much more than that...we're kinda cute" Koromon says to the kids. "And very loyal" Tsunomon added with a blush. "With beautiful hair" Yokomon said, gesturing her flower like head "Or maybe no hair at all" Motimon continued. "We can be funny, ha" Bukamon told them "And adorable" Tokomon added "Each with his/her own personalities" Vealmon finished and looked up at the kids.


"It's a pleasure to meet each of you, my name's Tai and these are my friends from camp" Tai introduced himself, and began to introduce his friends to their Digimon.


He first turned to Sora "I'd like you to meet Sora..." Tai said, introducing her "Nice place you got here, except for the bugs" Sora said, smiling at the Digimon.


Tai then turned to Matt "The self proclaimed cool one over there is Matt" Tai joked "No autographs please" Matt joked along as well.


"And this is Joe..." Tai introduced Joe next "I'd shake hands if you had any" Joe said, feeling all calm down.


Tai turned to Izzy "Izzy is our computer expert...." Tai said pointed to Izzy "Do you have internet access?" Izzy asked.


The next person Tai turned to was Haru "The white haired girl over there is Haru" Tai said, introducing her "I'm very please to meet you all" Haru said to them and smiled.


"And last but not lest, this little guy is umm...." Tai finished with TK, but was having a bit of trouble. "TK, call me TK and I'm not as small as I look" TK assured them.


"There now is that everybody?" Tai finished, but he looked around at the group, he was sure there was one more person. Sora noticed this too "Hey what happened to that girl with the funny pink hat?" she asked "Now now, her name is Mimi" Tai told them. Haru looked around for a moment "You know something...where is Mimi at?" Haru asked the group, which got them thinking where Mimi go off to "Well, perhaps she's off picking flowers, or going on a nature hike" Izzy suggested what Mimi went to.


Suddenly their thoughts were interrupted by a scream "Somebody help me!" it was Mimi. They heard her screaming coming from a direction "Come on!" Tai said and they all started to run off in that direction. "Okay, so she's not picking flowers" Izzy said to himself as they kept running.


The gang and their Digimon ran out into an opening trying to find Mimi. "Mimi! Where are you?" Tai yelled, hoping Mimi would respond "There she is!" Sora said and pointed. Mimi then came running towards them with a seed like Digimon. "Mimi it's okay!" Tai assured her, thinking she was running from her Digimon. Only he looked up and figured she was running from that Kuwagamon "It's that big bug again!" Tai said and ducked down as Kuwagamon swooped down over their heads.


"Mimi, are you alright?" her Digimon asked her with concern "I think so" Mimi replied to her Digimon. Which she smiled "Don't worry, Tanemon's here to protect you" Tanemon introduced herself to everyone. Sora then ran over to them "It's okay Mimi" Sora assured her placing her hand on her shoulder "Oh Sora!" Mimi hugged her, glad to see her "Come on, we gotta move!" Haru ran over to the girls, and they ran to the others.


They all kept running with their Digimon close behind them, and Kuwagamon not far behind either. Just as Kuwagamon was about to catch them "Get down!" Matt shouted, and everyone jumped to the ground and Kuwagamon zipped right pass them. "Will this nightmare never end? My mom is gonna want a complete and total refunded!" Joe said as Bukamon stood by his side.


"Here he comes again!" Yokomon shouted to everyone as Kuwagamon turned around and dove into the trees ahead of them. Tai however had quite enough of this "Okay that's it no more running away!" he said angrly. "What else can we do?" Sora asked him as she helped Mimi up "She's right! There's no way we can fight that thing" Matt said as he helped both TK and Haru "Not and win anyway" Izzy added. As Kuwagamon came back, they ran off until they came to a cliff.


Tai walked over to the edge of the cliff to see if there was any way down "Be careful Tai" Sora told him, hoping he didn't fall over the edge. "There's no way down, we're going to have to find another way" Tai told them "And where do you think we should go?" Joe asked him. The trees behind them started to shake really hard.


They all ran to where Tai was but Kuwagamon flew over to them. "Tai watch out!" Sora shouted, seeing Kuwagamon about to attack him. "Here I go!" Koromon said and blew bubbles at Kuwagamon again. Kuwagamon knocked Koromon out of the way and aimed for the others.


"Digimon attack!" both Yokomon and Vealmon yelled, and all the Digimon jumped up and blew bubbles at Kuwagamon. They managed to knock Kuwagamon off course and made him crash into the tree.


"Yokomon!" Sora ran to her fallen Digimon, seeing if she was okay. The others ran to their Digimon, hoping if they were alright as well.


Tai picked up Koromon in his arms "Koromon, are you crazy? Why did you do it?" he asked his Digimon. "Sorry it's just...I'm trying to make a good impression" Koromon told him with a weak smile. "Crazy guy" Tai said under his breath, but he was glad nothing bad happened to Koromon.


"Yokomon...." Sora said sadly and picked up Yokomon in her arms. "Tanemon speak to me" Mimi said to her Digimon. "They must be programmed for courage" Izzy said out loud holding Motimon. "Tokomon what's wrong?" TK looked over his Digimon "Hey Tsunomon wake up" Matt told him. "Vealmon, please be alright" Haru got onto her knees and placed Vealmon on her lap. "Bukamon....wake up" Joe said really worried about him.


Then Kuwagamon was back up and was ready to fight again. Everyone grabbed their Digimon and ran over to where Tai was. "I was hoping we'd seen the last of him" Sora shouts "Me too, I guess he had other plans" Tai agreed with her. Everyone stood still in their places as Kuwagamon got closer.


"Okay get ready to run" Tai told everyone, as they were getting ready to book it. "No we fight" Tai looked down at Koromon "That's right, it's the only way, stand and fight!" Koromon said, being all brave. "Give it up will ya!" Ta says to Koromon.


"No Koromon's right, it's time we show what we're made of" Motimon agreed with Koromon "No don't" Izzy told him, not wanting anything bad happen to him. "They're right" Yokomon said "No way! It's hopeless your no match for him Yokomon" Sora told her, trying to convince Yokomon not to fight.


"We can do it, let me go! Let me go! Let me go!" Tsunomon tried to get out of Matt's arms. "Yeah we can do it!" Tokomon agreed, trying to get out of TK's arms "We can do it! We can do it!" Vealmon tried to get out of Haru's arms. Joe held onto Bukamon, who was trying to get out of his human's arms as well. "Tanemon, you too?" Mimi asked her, which Tanemon nodded.


Koromon looked up at Tai, knowing something has to be done. "I'm sorry Tai, but we've got to" Koromon looked at him. He then turned to face Kuwagamon. "Let's go!" Koromon said as he and the other Digimon jumped to attack Kuwagamon.


"It's useless, Yokomon!" Sora screams to her Digimon.


"Don't go Motimon!" Izzy yells to his Digimon.


"No wait don't it Tsunomon!" Matt yells to his Digimon as well.


"No please don't Vealmon!" Haru screams to her Digimon with tears starting to form in her eyes.


"Don't go Tokomon!" TK shouts to his little Digimon.


"Turn around! Come back Bukamon!" Joe shouts to his Digimon.


"Tanemon....be careful!" Mimi says, hoping her Digimon be alright.


"No don't Koromon!" Tai screamed, trying to run after his Digimon.


Then the eight devices started to make a beeping sound. It beeped rapidly and eight beams of light surround the Digimon. The gang wondered what was going on.


"Koromon digivolve to...Agumon!" Koromon changed into a little orange dinosaur.


"Yokomon digivolve to...Biyomon!" Yokomon suddenly turned into a pink bird with pink and blue feathers.


"Motimon digivolve to...Tentomon!" Motimon who was a pink blob, now changed into a big red ladybug with six legs.


"Tsunomon digivolve to...Gabumon!" Tsunomon changed from a little orange creature into a yellow-skinned reptile-like creature wearing a blue fur pelt and at a horn on his head.


"Vealmon digivolve to...Calfmon!" where Vealmon once stood, had changed into a cow, standing on her four legs, was light brown with dark brown spots, a white under belly, wore her cowbell on her neck, and on her head she had little horns coming out and a tuft of dark brown hair.


"Tokomon digivolve to...Patamon!" Tokomon turned into a orange guinea-pig like creature with bat-like wings for ears.


"Bukamon digivolve to...Gomamon!" Bukamon suddenly turned into a seal-like creature with purple markings and had a red mohawk.


"Tanemon digivolve to...Palmon!" Tanemon then turned into a plant-like creature, with a pink flower on her head.


The beams of light disappeared, and the once small Digimon, grew a bit bigger and different. The gang saw what had become of their Digimon. "What in the....look at them, what happened to the little guys?" Sora asked, seeing they all looked really different from before. "They're bigger" Tai added to what Sora said "And different!" Haru added as well.


The Digimon all jumped up to attack Kuwagamon, but knocked backwards. "Alright then, you asked for it!" Agumon said to Kuwagamon, who was about to fly. But Palmon stopped him "Poison Ivy!" her claws extent into a vine-like whips. They tangled around Kuwagamon's legs pulling him down.


"Boom Bubble!" Patamon says, and fires an air bubble from his stomach. "Super Shocker!" Tentomon fires an electric rod from his antennas. Those attacks hit Kuwagamon, but he then was tripped by Gomamon, who rolled under his feet.


"Stand back everyone, Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouts and fired a fireball from his mouth. "Hoof Quake!" Calfmon stomped her front hoofs to the ground, and rocks stuck up from the ground as a earthquake type attack headed for Kuwagamon. "Spiral Twister!" Biyomon says and created a green flame twister from her wings. "Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouted and shot a blue fire from his mouth.


"Now all together!" Agumon ordered, and they all began to do their attacks again at Kuwagamon at once. Those attacks send Kuwagamon backwards, knocking him out.


The kids were all dumb folded by what they saw. "They made vapor out of him" Izzy said, know what just happened. "Amazing!" Tai said "Told ya we could do it!" Agumon says, laughing as he ran over to Tai, and the others ran over their their partners.


"Koromon or Agumon or whatever you are you did it, you did it!" Tai said happily, hugging Agumon. the other Digimon ran to their partners, as the kids like the new forms they were in. Some of the kids hugged their Digimon, knowing they were okay, and some took in their new forms. "See just like Agumon said, we can handle it" Calfmon told the kids, Haru smiled down at Calf with one had on her knees and the other on Calfmon's head.


However Kuwagamon popped out of the trees. Sora noticed Kuwagamon stand there "Tai! Behind you! Watch out!" Sora screamed to Tai and Agumon. They jumped out of the before Kuwagamon could get to them.


"Guess we celebrated too soon" Tai said, as he and his friends and the Digimon started at Kuwagamon. Then suddenly, the edge of the cliff they were standing on started to break off. And they all plummet down into the river.
